We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer to lead and execute enterprise-scale migration projects, including Exchange Online and OneDrive. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and migration tools like Quest ODM, with a focus on reliability, error handling, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute Exchange Online mailbox migrations from on-premises or tenant-to-tenant environments
Plan and implement OneDrive for Business migrations, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime
Design and develop advanced PowerShell automation scripts with robust error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms
Leverage Microsoft Graph API (MgGraph) for automation, reporting, and bulk operations
Use Quest on Demand Migration (ODM) for tenant-to-tenant migration scenarios
Perform pre-migration assessments, dependency analysis, and post-migration validation
Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize performance for large-scale data transfers
Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration strategy, timelines, and risk mitigation
Maintain detailed documentation for scripts, processes, and migration activities
Ensure compliance with security and governance policies during migration
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience with Exchange Online migration (cutover, staged, hybrid, tenant-to-tenant)
Experience in OneDrive for Business migration
Proficiency in Microsoft Graph API (MgGraph)
Advanced expertise in PowerShell scripting, including:
- Modular scripting
- Exception handling
- Logging frameworks
- Automation pipelines
Hands-on experience with Quest ODM (On Demand Migration)
Good understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture and services
Experience with identity systems such as Azure AD / Entra ID
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good to Have Skills
Experience with SharePoint Online migration
Understanding of compliance, security, and governance in Microsoft 365
Experience in large enterprise migration programs

Strong communication and stakeholder management
Ability to handle customer discussions and escalations

Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Azure Fundamentals
