Microbulk Service Technician

Cincinnati OH, United States | req31399 1st Shift.

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will frequently travel to customer
  sites to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on Microbulk units
  in the field
• Performs installations of
  cryogenic micro bulk systems and piping at client locations
• You will diagnose problems, failures,
  and identifies replacement needs
• Repairs various items, systems
  and/or components of Microbulk units
• You will ensure equipment is in safe
  working condition once repairs are complete
• Performs routine and periodic preventive
  maintenance for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functionality and
  quality of equipment
• Request’s equipment and
  supplies to complete the necessary installation/repairs
• You will manage warehouse and service
  truck inventory and shipping of parts to other Technicians in the region
• Arranges shipment of tanks and
  equipment for installations to meet job schedule
• You have the ability to work independently
• You have strong communication skills & demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and teamwork skills
• Demonstrates goal setting and time management skills to ensure timely and effective task completion and goal achievement.
• You will manage and executes multiple tasks and prioritizes as necessary.
• Conducts site surveys to ensure project adherence to NFPA, local codes, and Linde standards.
• You will adhere to Linde safety policies and procedures are followed.
• May require both planned and
  unplanned overnight travel
• May require both planned and
  unplanned out calls.
• Other duties as assigned

What makes you great

• You have a High School Diploma or GED
• Basic tool knowledge and
  mechanical aptitude a plus
• Experience pipe fitting, brazing,
  & knowledge of compression fittings a plus
• Pipe & tube bending a plus
• You have basic computer skills
• You have basic Microsoft office
  knowledge
• You must have a valid Driver's License with
  clean driving record required
• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol
  (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• You must be able/willing to travel
  (overnight travel required)
• Must be able to respond to
  unplanned service outcalls
• You are able to stand for long periods
  of time and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
