Midland Transport Limited is currently seeking professional Class 1 Michelin Team Truck Driver The Drivers/team can be based out of any major city in the Maritimes including, but not limited to Fredericton, Moncton, Halifax, Saint John and Charlottetown.
The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and strong commitment to providing Superior Quality Service.

• Running Linehaul from Maritimes to South Carolina - 2 trips each run and 3 days off between runs.
• Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery.
• Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage.
• Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers.
• Operate tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
• Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner.
• Class 1 driver’s license with a minimum of 4 years of safe, commercial tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Eligibility to receive a FAST card.
• Eligibility to cross the border with US.
• Familiarity with satellite systems.
• Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
• Safety conscious.
• Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends.
