Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Selenta Hospitality Manco, S.L The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.


At Selenta Group, we are seeking an In-house MICE & Groups Coordinator for our iconic Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel & Conference Center (o Princesa Plaza), a property currently undergoing an exciting repositioning in the heart of Madrid.
The Mission
To efficiently manage the end-to-end sales process for groups and events—from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up—maximizing conversion rates, ensuring seamless operational execution, and contributing to the achievement of the hotel’s commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities
# Inquiry & Proposal Management: Manage and quote group and event requests across all sales channels.
# Lead Conversion: Proactively follow up on budgets, modifications, and closures until final confirmation.
# Systems Management: Daily use of Opera (PMS), Cvent, and proprietary Marriott sales tools.
# Operational Coordination: Liaise internally with all hotel departments to ensure flawless execution of groups and events.
# Vendor Relations: Coordinate with external suppliers, with a particular focus on Audiovisual (AV) partners.
# Site Inspections: Provide high-touch customer service and support during on-site commercial visits.
# Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full MICE and group cycle, including post-stay/event follow-up and feedback.
# Reporting: Provide administrative support and basic commercial reporting for the department.
# Compliance: Uphold Marriott’s rigorous quality, brand, and service standards.

- Education: Degree in Tourism, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven track record in MICE, Groups, Events, or Sales within the hospitality sector.
- Brand Knowledge: Previous experience with international hotel brands, ideally Marriott.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Opera, Cvent, and hospitality-specific CRM/Sales tools.
- Languages: Minimum C1 level in English; proficiency in a third language is a plus.
- Core Competencies: Goal-oriented with strong commercial follow-through.
- Soft Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
- Mindset: Proactive, positive attitude with a relentless focus on the guest.
