OF POSITION
Provides supervision and oversight of services and operations of program to teach residents the necessary skills to live in the least restrictive community living arrangement of their choice. The MI/IDD Residential Program Manager supervises the Program Coordinator’s operation of the facility and ensures that the facility maintains compliance with all applicable safety and applicable licensing standards. In addition, the MI/IDD Residential Program Manager in conjunction with the Program Coordinator supervises the Residential Supervisors’ provision of client services and provides and promotes outstanding internal and external customer service. This includes performing assessments, developing service plans and maintenance of appropriate documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level
Bachelor’s degree in human service field, Master’s Degree preferred (Special Education, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, and Rehabilitation Counseling). HS Diploma and 15 years of experience may be accepted upon approval.
Years of Experience
At least 2 years of previous supervisory experience is required. Experience supervising residential programs operational 24/7 is preferred.
Certification/Licensure
QIDP certification or able to get certified, must have at least one year of experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities and have qualifying bachelor's degree
