We are on the lookout for:

Job vacancy: MI Analyst

Your responsibility will be to provide support in the analysis of key metrics, market & industry trends and consumer behavior while participating in the preparation of reports/dashboards with the aim of providing strategic support to the Management.


In this role you will,

  • Complete research and analyze data to develop and/or support a sound understanding of customer segments, trends, needs, and expectations;
  • Support the collection of data and participate in reviews of business activities to identify opportunities for improvements;
  • Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports;
  • Resolve queries from internal or external stakeholders by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring issues to others where necessary for interpretation of policy;
  • Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats;
  • Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports;
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by producing comprehensive regulatory reports. Review and consolidate the information being reported and make sure it is accurate and timely;
  • Reviews, interprets, and summarizes data from reports to drive operational and strategic improvements.
  • Develop and maintain operational KPIs including productivity, turnaround time, backlog levels, error/rework rates, regulatory breaches, and revenue tracking.
  • Ensure data integrity through validation checks, reconciliation controls, and documented MI governance processes prior to publication.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of:

Either

  • Bachelor Degree in either Mathematics, Statistics, Computing, Economics, Management Information Systems or Computer Science field;
  • 5 years’ work experience in Finance/Business Analysis or MIS field within the Banking, Trade Finance or financial industry;
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL, Cognos and Python;
  • Core Banking system exposure will be an advantage.

OR

  • Diploma in either Mathematics, Statistics, Computing, Economics, Management Information Systems or Computer Science field;
  • 7 years' of equivalent work experience in Finance/Business Analysis or MIS field within the Banking, Trade Finance products and operational lifecycle or financial industry;
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL, Cognos and Python;
  • Core Banking system exposure will be an advantage.
