We are seeking a Material Handling Operative to join our Bulk Operations team and help keep the world moving!
You will operate the company’s plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, supporting the handling of bulk products across the terminal, ensuring activities are completed safely, accurately and on time. You will inspect company plant and equipment for damage, reporting any incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences without delay, ensuring all machinery and working areas are kept clean and in line with agreed standards.
You will proactively focus on operating a safe working environment, identifying any hazards and taking action to remedy these immediately within agreed guidelines. Working in a physically demanding environment, you will predominantly be based in one area but may be required to use your skills across other Terminals dependent upon business needs.
You will have previous experience working within an industrial general cargo/bulk handling, logistics or warehouse environment, alongside:
