The Mgr Training - Energy Supply will manage Energy Supply wide work force development program, including craft skills training, professional and leadership development, human performance initiatives and operations and maintenance procedure development, governance and compliance. Partner with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify competency needs, develop training and qualification programs, and ensure team members at all levels possess the knowledge, skills and behaviors necessary to perform their roles.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited college/university. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 2 years of experience with an Associate’s degree, or an additional 4 years of experience with a High School Diploma may be considered.
Required: 8 years of experience Training, Leadership Development, and/or Education. 3 years of experience in procedure and/or training development roles.
Preferred: 2 years of Instructional system design (ISD) program development experience in a utility operations environment. Experience with planning, developing, and applying training needs analyses or assessments.
Required: 3 years supervisory/people leadership experience.
Required: Excellent organizational and collaboration skills, project management expertise and the ability to work with all levels of Energy Supply management. Proven proficient technical and leadership skills.
Requires frequent travel into plant. Exposure to plant conditions is required. Utilizing proper PPE will be required.
Must be physically able to navigate through plant structure; including ascending / descending stairs (multiple levels).
The successful applicant will be required to take and pass a Baseline Medical Examination as part of the pre-employment screening once an offer has been accepted. A pre-employment drug screening, as well as a background check (including education, employment, criminal and motor vehicle) will also be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening.
