The Manager, Talent Acquisition plays a key role in bringing this to life—leading a high-performing recruitment team, shaping strategy, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for candidates and hiring leaders across the organization.
Key Accountabilities
Lead and Develop the Talent Acquisition Team
Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to recruiters and team members
Establish clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable to outcomes
Support development through feedback, training, and growth opportunities
Ensure timely completion of team deliverables and alignment to organizational goals
Drive Talent Acquisition Strategy and Operations
Oversee recruiting processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance
Serve as a subject matter expert on complex or high-impact recruitment needs
Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance effectiveness and experience
Partner with Leaders Across the Organization
Build strong relationships with senior operational leaders to understand workforce needs
Act as a strategic partner, aligning recruiting efforts to business priorities
Maintain accountability for the quality and delivery of talent acquisition services
Manage RPO and External Partnerships
Serve as the primary liaison between Texas Children’s and the RPO partner
Ensure alignment on goals, service delivery, and performance expectations
Collaborate with partners to drive results and improve outcomes
Collaborate Across HR and the Organization
Partner with HR leaders and peers to support enterprise initiatives
Align on priorities, process improvements, and change management efforts
Ensure consistent communication and shared accountability across team
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Experience
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Human Resources, healthcare, or business consulting
At least 2 years of leadership or project management experience
Talent Acquisition experience in a large healthcare system preferred
Prior formal people leadership experience
Certifications (Preferred)
SPHR or SHRM certification
