Manitowoc, international leader in providing premium lifting solutions is looking for a Supply Chain manager to be based in the italian plant in Niella Tanaro

Main Responsability in the Role

  • Collect order previsions from the EMEA Sales Logistic and Administration department, liaise with procurement professionals to check delivery dates, calculate the plant production capacities and prepare a synthetic chart that will be discussed monthly in supervision meetings.
  • Guarantee the procurement of all materials needed to production according to production and delivery programs.
  • Manage suppliers relationship according to Purchasing guidelines and agreements and Engineering Dep. recomandations.
  • Cooperate with the other Plants Supply Chain Manager for inter-company projects and materials.
  • Ensure correct and efficient material workflow and warehouse organization
  • Efficiently manage the procurement and warehouse team.
  • Keep the stock under control.

To be Successful in this Role

  • Minimum 10 years experience in equivalent role in complex manufacturing organization
  • Excellent expertise in logistic process and industrial costs and internal material flow.
  • Good expertise in mastery tools and continuous improvement methods.
  • Excellent in managing people
  • Knowledge of an ERP ( MFG PRO, SAP or equivalent)
  • Rigorous with the inventory management and the planning
  • Problem solving and stress resistant
