The IT Application Manager is primarily responsible for all aspects of planning, coordination, implementation, and support of various team such as Inventory management, POS, and B to B/B to C services for Japan. This role also works closely with application support team, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to deliver solutions to meet retail requirements, while providing continuous improvements and operational support.
1. Work under CDT organization as dedicated resource for application management.
2. Manage local front end application & be responsible to cooperate with global team and local vendors, with in-depth understanding of business requirements.
3. Managing & collaborating with local venders, and supporting the internal applications & maintenance team , to ensure the stable operation of the omnichannel platform.
4. Development of front end systems roadmap to fulfill local users’ requirements.
5. Coordinate and manage application projects to define local IT strategy and successfully deliver IT solution, with compliance to brand global IT policy.
6. Adapt to change and continuously improve the overall system platform through the using of new scientific and technological forces which should be aligned with IT direction.
7. Be the key contact person for related business functions to make sure the support from IT is workable and efficient.
8. Maintain and enhance existing system to achieve the business strategy and objective.
9. Take lead of IT related application projects and be accountable for the outcomes.
10. Effectively lead the team & support growth of individual employees.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience for Retail/Inventory/Order management system is preferred.
SAP FICO and SDMM experiences is nice to have.
Project Management skill is a must.
Experience in the apparel and footwear retail industry is a plus. Good interpersonal skills and customer oriented. Has the ability to handle multitask
