What you do
Security & Facilities Operations & Governance
Lead and oversee daily on-site security operations to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of building assets.
Provide subject-matter guidance on all physical security–related matters within a critical secured environment, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements (e.g. PLRD, PDPA, SCDF, etc.)
Lead, supervise and develop the on-site security team to ensure consistent adherence to the Security Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures while fostering strong collaboration with the facilities management team.
Act as the primary point of contact for security escalations, incidents, and risk-related issues within the building premises.
Partner with the facilities management team to ensure security considerations are embedded into building operations, maintenance activities and tenant services, delivering an integrated, customer-focused property management support to the key stakeholders.
Access Control & Identity Management
Manage the end-to-end access control process, including access card programming, issuance, modification, and termination for authorised personnel.
Maintain accurate access inventories, logs, records and audit trials, ensuring timely reviews and compliance readiness.
Conduct periodic access rights reviews and produce audit-ready documentation to validate appropriateness of access.
Handle stakeholders’ enquiries and resolve security-related issues professionally and promptly.
Compliance, Risk & Audit Support
Establish, maintain and review security controls, risk assessments and operational documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submissions.
Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation, logs, approvals, and evidence meet system requirements, regulatory and organisational requirements.
Coordinate with IT and relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with change management processes for all on-site Operational Technology (OT) equipment.
Vendor & Maintenance Management
Manage relationships with security and facilities-related vendors to ensure service delivery meets agreed service levels, performance targets and contractual requirements.
Plan, coordinate and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of the Integrated Security Management System and security-related infrastructure, minimising operational disruptions and adherence to security standards.
Drive resolution of system faults and service issues through effective escalation, root cause analysis and documentation of corrective actions.
Administrative & Financial Oversight
Perform administrative duties related to physical security operations and facilities operations (when required) including procurement, contract administration and timely invoice verification and processing.
Monitor operational expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets and contractual obligations.
Prepare annual OPEX and CAPEX budget planning, including lifecycle management of security systems and assets.
Stakeholder & Change Management
Serve as a key liaison between business units, facilities team, IT and vendors to ensure effective coordination of security and building-related initiatives.
Managed security and facilities impact arising from system or operational changes by ensuring proper change management procedures are adhered by ensuring appropriate approvals and communications are in place.
Continuous Improvement
Review, assess, and streamline security processes and operational workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of daily activities within the building premises.
Conduct annual review of Security Post Orders and Security Standard Operating Procedures.
Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation, and risk reduction to strengthen the overall security posture of the building.
Develop and maintain long-term security operations roadmaps, including predictive maintenance strategies and capital improvement initiatives.
Who you are
Min. Diploma in Security / Facilities Management or equivalent
Min. 6 – 10 years of experience in security operations with significant time spent on supervisory or leadership roles
Previous experience in Singapore Police Force or Singapore Armed Forces is highly preferred.
Proficient in managing modern surveillance and security systems (EACS, CCTV, etc.)
Good understanding of local regulations and security-related assessments including the Private Security Industry Act, Personal Data Protection Act, Security Protection Plan, TVRA, MHA and MOM regulations
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Drive to succeed and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Possess problem solving skills and proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions
Ability to be on call and stay calm to handle crisis management during incidents or emergencies.
Good organisation and documentation skills and ability to multitask to manage and prioritise workloads, ensure and meet deadlines.
