Job Description

Provide advanced support for the credit union's Compliance Management System (CMS), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and Security programs. Lead a team that provides advanced risk oversight, operational performance management, and regulatory reporting through accurate, timely, and actionable advanced business intelligence solutions across all of risk management, including Executive Management. Leads by example through hands-on execution while guiding a team that develops and oversees meaningful dashboards, reporting, monitoring tools, and data related initiatives, ensuring data integrity and operational suitability of all work products. Accountable for GRC platform administration and oversight, departmental SharePoint tools, project management software and related change management activities. Develop collaborative relationships across the creidt union to ensure timely knowledge of any system or infrastructure changes that may impact access to critical data or data gathering mechanisms.  Serve as a liaison for certain ET projects on behalf of ERM team.  Design and implement efficiencies by leveraging technology solutions.  Direct staff and initiatives that support risk monitoring and intelligence programs. Partner with business units to strengthen risk ownership and compliance accountability. Drive the development of analytical material for discussions with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, champion change-management strategies, and recommend solutions. Support operational events and issue management validation. Drive programs that maintain strong documentation, audit trails, and program artifacts to demonstrate program maturity. Prepare concise, insight driven reports for various levels of leadership, including executives, committees and the board. Partner with other leaders to support program maturity across the second line of defense. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent education and/or experience. Minimum seven (7) years of supporting risk and/or compliance related activities or data mining and analysis within a financial institution with responsibilities for the identification and documentation of risk, controls, and compliance with laws and regulations. Minimum four (4) years’ experience in a leadership role. Extensive, advanced experience with data mining techniques and data visualization tools, including SQL, Power BI and SharePoint, as well as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Apps.  Working knowledge of Python, VBA, and DAX is preferred. Demonstrated project management and Program development experience. Direct experience related to reporting on and visualizing ERM metrics, risk assessment results, regulatory compliance assessment findings and executive level presentations.Established interpersonal and relationship skills to include conflict resolution with the ability to negotiate recovery situations in collaboration with senior leadership.  Ability to develop thorough knowledge of organizational and departmental processes, procedures and systems.
