About This Role
This position is to serve as the finance support for Carrier’s total Capital Expenditures (~$400M/yr.) as well as the operations owned components of Working Capital (Inventory | Accounts Payable).
Key Responsibilities:
Support Carrier’s global Capex process by partnering with the FP&A teams, including annual plan, quarterly forecast and monthly actual monitoring across BUs and investment categories
Support Enterprise-wide Capex by coordinating with global functions and perform Capex forecast process and variance analysis
Serve as the first point of contact for the Operations team for their Capex projects, including but not limited to, project payback analysis and expense categorization
Support leadership review on Capex investment including CFO approval review and major investment health-checks
Drive Performance for Operations owned Working Capital elements, inventory, and accounts payable. This would include establishing appropriate level of KPIs, method of tracking and more importantly the analysis of the numbers to drive forward looking, performance enhancing business decisions
Present executive level, fact based analysis to Senior Management
Other ad hoc analysis to support in operations finance team as needed
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
6+ years’ experience in a finance position
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated command of HFM, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills
Passion for project management and problem solving
