The ME&APS Manager will lead and guide the team, and influence others, to deliver a high standard of Safety, Quality and Productivity to New Products, new processes and New technologies.

Strong interaction with Product Engineering, Production Areas (Logistics, Weld, Paint, Assembly), Quality department…

Will the driving force for Lean Manufacturing and the Leader for Continuous Improvement in the Plant, connected to other 10+ factories around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians (25 members) responsible for the introduction of New Products, Processes and Technologies.
  • Manage the development and implementation of Continuous Improvement Programs and Lean Manufacturing, including global Assessments.
  • Participate in the communication and dissemination of the program, through the organization of materials, courses, and lectures on the subject.
  • Lead/Conduct meetings with manufacturing and supply chain areas, to develop continuous improvement plans.

Experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Production Engineering
• Proven experience in project management and team leadership
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Fluency in English is mandatory to expose and defend ideas, with technical industrial vocabulary, during global meetings and travel to Europe or North America.
  • Experience in a similar environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Lead and manage projects from planning through execution and completion
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficiency
  • Monitor project timelines, costs, and deliverables
  • Support and optimize manufacturing processes, particularly in welding and assembly
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
