JOB TITLE: Manager Fund Transfer -Investment Control
DIRECTLY REPORTS TO: Sr. Manager Fund & Fee Changes – Investment Control
The primary responsibility of the Manager is to work directly and manage a team of administrative staff to maximize productivity and performance.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The individual has responsibility for all operational functions related to ensuring Fund setup are handled timely He/she should be strong at situational leadership.
As part of the daily BAU, Manager for GFTR should be aware of Fund Setup Process.
Sound knowledge on Funds and applications
Develop process improvements for increased efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Ensuring daily parameters and internal benchmark parameters are met
Development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and other documentation to ensure smooth flow of work
Procedure review to verify if the existing procedures are up to date for the current requirement
Identifying knowledge gap within the team and execution of refresher training
Effective people and process management
Escalation management Identify career opportunities for the teams
Being aware of risk and audit requirements for the teams Work with relevant stakeholders on hiring and onboarding associates
Track record of managing metrics as per the threshold including gain loss.
Compose routine written correspondence and conduct research into problems and inquiries.
Understanding of business organization and resources necessary coordinate and collaborate with other teams to resolve standard and complex issues
Position requires that individuals have shown high results in both team productivity and quality goals
Participates in various department projects and is assigned additional responsibilities in addition to standard processing duties as needed
Helps develop processes and procedures for the department and relies on extensive knowledge to improve and implement new processes.
Performs Aduit review of data and activity to prevent risk of loss due to errors. These tasks impact billions of dollars each year. High level of operational risk
Develops working relationships with peers and management.
Effectively uses resources to independently research and resolve issues. Has depth of knowledge of Cirrus, Easy and other department’s processes & timing that affect fund and fee changes. Serves as a liaison with external vendors.
TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
8-12 years of overall experience must and Preferable knowledge on Fund & Fee changes.
Solid practical understanding of internal policies
Bachelor’s degree in Accounts and commerce requires or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in Fund changes.
Good to have ASPPA/SPARK certification Certified LSS (Lean Six Sigma) is a must to have.
