Job Description
This position will serve our Water Heating Division, located in Montgomery, Alabama
- Must be able to operate a variety of machinery including, but not limited to, shot blast equipment, planispheres, flue expanding tools, and flue insert equipment to assemble or fabricate tanks.
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
- Observe all departmental safety requirements.
- Maintain quality standards according to specifications.
- Inspect units or parts for defects and workmanship.
- Work from written or verbal orders.
- Practice and support Rheem values with internal as well as external customers.
- Perform other related duties as required by supervisor.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED, Secondary School Diploma, etc.).
- The ability to work from written or verbal orders.
- The ability to read and write in English.
- Attention to Detail.
- Basic Math.
- Reading/Writing Comprehension.
Work Environment:
- May be exposed to high noise levels.
Physical Demands:
- Continuous lifting of 5-25 lbs; Frequent lifting of 25-60 lbs; Occasional lifting of 60+ lbs. Must be able to walk, stand, and/or lift repetitively during shift.
