Job Description

We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary offices. Successful candidates who apply outside of this area will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.

About the role:

You are a detail-oriented and highly organized professional with experience in loan administration, documentation, or financial services operations. You thrive in collaborative environments and take pride in maintaining accurate records and supporting cross-functional teams. You bring a proactive mindset to process improvement and are comfortable working with internal systems and external stakeholders to ensure smooth loan enablement and compliance.

About the day-to-day:

  • Prepare and review commitment letters and related documentation for new loans and amendments.
  • Create and update client information in loan origination and banking systems.
  • Maintain accurate loan data and documentation in the banking system and shared drives.
  • Organize and save loan documents in appropriate folders under the commercial drive.
  • Draft correspondence to CMHC regarding special conditions and compliance requirements.
  • Order corporate reports, property assessments, title searches, and tax certificates as directed by Account Managers.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Sales and the Funding Team to support the loan process from origination to funding.

About the qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services, loan administration, or a related operational role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with loan documentation and financial compliance processes.
  • Experience working with internal systems and managing client data.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with banking or CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of CMHC processes and documentation is considered an asset.

About the work environment:

Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times

Hiring process:

Compensation:

The expected salary for this role is approximately $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience that the chosen candidate possesses.
