  • Lead Manufacturing Excellence Agenda under TPM umbrella in Plant to deliver Best in Class efficiencies.
  • Drive TPM culture .
  • Act as facilitator for TPM activities .
  • Drive lean manufacturing concept in factory
  • Driving End2End productivity targets of factory by partnering with all functions
  • Managing plant led productivity projects in Power Steering with scheduled frequency
  • Deliver at least 1 Green Belt Six Sigma projects every year
  • Mentor KL/GB projects
  • Design and Lead Quarterly Manf. Excellence Engagement Programs.
  • Engage with Region LSS and Manf. Excellence Leads and drive horizontal replication of BPTs
  • Development/consolidations of plant Presentations
  • Reduction of Scheduled and unscheduled downtimes as per AOP by partnering with respective functions such as ENG, Manufacturing
  • Unlocking solutions to achieve plant P2P targets


Responsibilities

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE:

  1. TPM Implementation in the plant
  • Prepare Master plan for TPM implementation
  • Develop and standardize the TPM formats for FLI
  • Plan basic policy & target setting
  • Organize the Plant Project teams
  • Attend and coordinate the Steering committee meetings
  • Work out plan to promote individual pillar
  • Set targets for individual circle linked to pillar target
  • Develop the JH circles for plant
  • Support JH circles to meet the JH Master Plan
  1. Establish Loss Monitoring system to set up plant benchmark based on key indices of PQCDSM
  • Identify Losses based on 16 losses & Prepare PQCDSM targets for Plant
  • Establish loss data monitoring system in plant
  • Regular feedback to all pillar on targets vs. actual
  1. Facilitate 5S activity in the plant
  • Implement 5S in Packaging & Process
  • Implement 5S in Process & Packaging
  • Regular audit and feedback to all circles
  • Internalizing the circle culture
  1. Develop Training modules and promotion material on
  • 5S
  • JH Step 1,2,3
  • Why- Why Analysis
  1. Shop Floor Engagement
  • Training of new joinees
  • Providing timely feedback to employees on the performance reviews
  • Counselling of employees
  • On the job training for enabling multiskilling.


Qualifications

  • Any Engineering Graduate from Tier- A engineering institute with min 8 years experience into processes and leading the people; (Mech., Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Instrumentation)
  • Should have TPM experience of Min 5 years with a system process driven organization; only from Manufacturing set-up
  • Analytical skills
  • Process orientation
  • Strong Presentation and communication skills
  • Strong persuasive and influencing ability;
  • Strong connect with Shopfloor teams
