Job role

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is responsible for managing a team of 4-5 packaging mezz staff, ensuring timely

and accurate delivery of packaged goods to production, maintaining inventory control,

and upholding quality and safety standards, but is not limited to:

  • Supervise, train, and motivate a team of 4-5 packaging mezz staff.
  • Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and ensure team productivity and performance
  • targets are met.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate expectations, changes, and updates.
  • Monitor and manage packaging material inventory to ensure adequate supply for production needs.
  • Track usage and report discrepancies or low stock levels in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with procurement and Goods In teams to order and receive materials efficiently. ·
  • Oversee daily packaging activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and consistency. ·
  • Coordinate with the production and planning teams to deliver packaged goods as per schedule.
  • Ensure all packaging activities adhere to safety and hygiene standards. ·
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of packaging output and materials usage. ·
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions for operational efficiency.

Hours of Work

5 days out of 7 (to include Sunday) Nightshift 6pm- 4/5am/Finish.
