We are looking for a highly analytical Pricing Specialist (Temporary Cover) to lead the SUV pricing strategy for Ford Mexico. This role is pivotal in balancing market competitiveness with financial profitability. You will manage the end-to-end pricing lifecycle—from strategic alignment with Marketing and future vehicle projections to the operational execution of price loading and billing controls.   • SUV Pricing Strategy & Execution:
    • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to define and implement pricing strategies for the SUV segment.
    • Execute price loading in internal systems and perform rigorous testing to ensure accuracy before market release.
    • Develop pricing projections and business cases for future vehicle programs and product launches.
  • Reporting & Market Intelligence:
    • Lead the Monthly Price Position Report, analyzing Ford’s competitive standing against key market rivals.
    • Synthesize market data to provide actionable insights on price elasticity and competitor movements.
  • Forecasting & Financial Analysis:
    • Manage the Pricing and Net Pricing Forecast, ensuring alignment with profit objectives and sales volume targets.
    • Analyze variances between forecasted and actual net pricing to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Operational Controls & Billing:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Billing Locks for both units and dealers.
    • Ensure all pricing controls are met to prevent billing errors and maintain compliance with internal audit standards.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in Pricing, Revenue Management, or Financial Analysis (Automotive industry experience is a plus).
  • Advanced Excel (Mandatory): Must be proficient in complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling.

  • Data Analytics (Preferred): Experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx to streamline reporting and visualize trends.
  • Languages: Advanced English (written and spoken) is required for reporting to regional leadership and collaborating with global teams.
  • Competencies:
    • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight month-end deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills to negotiate and align with Marketing and Sales stakeholders.
