Hybrid: This position requires to work 3 days on site 2 days at home remote on a full-time basis
This role reports to the Mexico Medical Manager and works in close collaboration with Mexico site Medical Coordinators, physicians, nurse supervisors, nurses, and cross-functional business partners. The current Mexico structure reflects dedicated coordination needs across NOM compliance, policy and procedure management, training, and site standardization, supporting the need for a role with strong integration across these functions.
Education & Certifications:
Education: Medical Degree (M.D.Licenciatura en Medicina) with an active professional license (Cédula Profesional).
Specialization: Post-graduate studies, diploma, or master's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Health, or related fields (Deseable/Plus).
Experience:
6+ years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety within manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.
Proven track record in multi-site or regional medical operations coordination.
Technical Knowledge & Skills:
Regulatory Expertise: Strong, in-depth knowledge of Mexican Labor Laws, Social Security regulations (IMSS/ST-7/ST-9), and STPS Official Mexican Standards (NOMs) applicable to occupational health.
Systems & Tools: Proficient in medical management systems (e.g.,Cority, Medgate, or similar EHS platforms) and advanced Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint for metrics dashboard creation and reporting.
Audit & Compliance: Hands-on experience preparing sites for internal/external audits, establishing medical protocols, and managing medical equipment calibration & standing orders.
Core Competencies & Soft Skills:
Language:100% Bilingual (English & Spanish) with fluent verbal and written communication skills to interface with global leaders and local teams.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to partner effectively with HR, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Legal, Security, and Plant Directors.
Change Management & Training: Experience in designing training programs, onboarding protocols, and driving process standardization/continuous improvement across multiple locations.
