Job Title: Part-Time Recruiter (eCommerce, Finance & High-Agency Talent)

Contractor Fee: $10–$12/hour USD

Work Arrangement: Remote

Engagement Type: Independent Contractor

Commitment: Part-Time (20–30 hours/week)

About This Role:
We’re looking for a proactive Part-Time Recruiter to support hiring across finance, eCommerce, operations, tech, and AI-heavy roles. We need someone who understands Shopify-based DTC brands, founder-led businesses, and high-agency environments, and can identify strong candidates beyond resume keywords alone. The ideal recruiter is highly organized, systems-minded, and able to evaluate ownership, operational fit, and relevant eCommerce experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and screen candidates for finance, accounting, operations, supply chain, tech, AI-support, and eCommerce-related roles

• Identify candidates with experience supporting Shopify-based brands, DTC businesses, founder-led companies, or eCommerce agencies

• Conduct structured initial interviews focused on communication, ownership, autonomy, and operational fit

• Evaluate resumes beyond surface-level keywords and identify transferable operational experience

• Build and manage organized recruitment pipelines, trackers, and candidate databases

• Collaborate closely with leadership regarding calibration, candidate quality, and hiring priorities

• Assist with interview coordination, scheduling, follow-ups, and candidate communication

• Help improve sourcing systems, workflows, and hiring quality standards

• ATS: Manatal

• Project Management: Notion

• Communication & Collaboration: Slack and Google Workspace

• Sourcing Platforms: LinkedIn, Indeed, and other sourcing platforms

• AI & Productivity Tools: ChatGPT and Claude preferred

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of recruitment, talent sourcing, or talent acquisition experience

• Strong experience recruiting for eCommerce, accounting/finance, operations, tech, or remote contractor roles

• Strong understanding of Shopify-based eCommerce brands and DTC business models

• Ability to distinguish between traditional corporate/retail experience and modern eCommerce operational environments

• Strong sourcing instincts and pattern recognition

• Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1 or C2 level)

• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently

• Comfortable using modern recruitment, sourcing, and collaboration tools

Preferred Experience:

• Recruiting for Shopify or DTC eCommerce brands

• Recruiting finance/accounting candidates with eCommerce operational exposure

• Recruiting for founder-led startups, agencies, or remote-first companies

• Familiarity with AI tools and workflow automation platforms

Shift Schedule

• While you may collaborate with the team during standard business hours, you retain full discretion over your work schedule. For communication purposes, we request general availability Monday through Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM in the US time zone, unless otherwise agreed.
