  • Problem solving skills
  • General inventory skills
  • Good overall knowledge of industrial supplies
  • Familiarity with data entry, filing and record keeping
  • Strong knowledge with Windows-based computer operating systems and software
  • Positive Attitude with good customer service skills
  • Pay attention to detail, and the ability to follow special instructions
  • Work independently and stay focused to complete assigned work
  • Willingness and personality suited to work in a team oriented environment
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving history

A typical day may look like this

  • Store customer inventory in designated areas of the facility
  • Receive and tag customer product for on-site delivery
  • Use system function to locate available inventory
  • Filling customer orders based on department scheduling.
  • Fill automated vending machines
  • Ensure each day to process each transaction from warehouse inventory to site inventory correctly
  • Report any unusual inventory findings to facility leadership
  • Continually look for better process improvements in assigned area of work
  • Notify site leadership if you see notable spikes in usage
  • Address special projects as assigned by facility leadership
  • Sitting 30%,
  • Standing 20%,
  • Walking 50%,
  • Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.; with occasional lifting up to 70 lbs. For material over 70 lbs., a team lift or mechanical lift is advised.
  • Occasional Pushing and pulling (approximately 10 lbs. of force)
  • Work in a factory/plant environment
