The Metrology Engineer ensures accurate, reliable, and compliant measurement systems to support FOUP product qualification, manufacturing, and continuous improvement. This role is critical to sustaining product quality, enabling production scale-up, and meeting customer and audit requirements across the product lifecycle.
What You’ll Do:
Develop, validate, and sustain measurement systems, inspection methods, and metrology standards
Lead Measurement System Analysis (MSA), including GR&R and capability studies
Support FOUP design qualification, engineering changes, and production ramp-up activities
Define and maintain metrology plans, specifications, and control strategies aligned with customer and regulatory requirements
Identify, investigate, and resolve measurement-relatedissues;drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
Serve as the metrology subject-matter expert (SME) for internal, customer, and regulatory audits
Partner cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to drive continuous improvement
What We Seek:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineeringor a related technical discipline
3–5 years of experience in metrology, dimensional inspection, or quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of GD&T, MSA, SPC, and statistical capability analysis
Hands-on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and/or optical measurement systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and/or FOUP-related products
Familiarity with ISO standards, customer specifications, and audit processes
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and/or high-volume manufacturing operations
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive improvements under tight timelines
