High School Collection Curator (Librarian of Record)

Serves as the certified teacher librarian overseeing the library collection of a CRCSD school that does not already employ a certified teacher librarian.

Endorsements:

School Teacher Librarian K-8, 5-12, or K-12

Requirements:

• Must already be employed as a teacher librarian at another CRCSD school

Duties:

• Manages the library budget for the school library
• Manages the library book collection and digital resources for the school library
• Manages the library database for the school library
• Collaborates with the Curriculum Coordinators to manage the school's curriculum resources
• Prepares and submits orders to purchase library materials and digital resources for the school library
• Weeds (removes) library books and curriculum resources per district policies

Term: 12 month, short-term contract

Compensation: $3,500 stipend
