Purpose
To ensure the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of work methods and production standards, optimizing operational efficiency, quality, and safety through Lean Manufacturing tools and process analysis.
Main Responsibilities
Develop, update, and standardize work instructions, process sheets, and methods in AMPS and SWI systems, ensuring compliance with SIS standards and MQAS requirements.
Analyze and optimize processes through time and motion studies (MODAPTS), Lean tools, and waste analysis (Muri, Mura, Muda).
Define line speeds and balance operations to maximize efficiency.
Lead line balancing and process changes resulting from productivity improvements, engineering changes, volume/mix changes, bottlenecks, quality or safety issues.
Coordinate and optimize personnel allocation according to operational demand.
Design, implement, and improve devices, accessories, and poka-yoke systems, ensuring document control and requisition tracking. Ensure compliance with quality standards (MQAS), leading the closure of nonconformities and internal and corporate audits.
Support the implementation of environmental management systems (ISO 14000) and other corporate initiatives.
Drive progress in the SIS domains according to the organizational roadmap.
Knowledge of process changes, product development, model year changes, and launches.
Approval of new model projects by evaluating process and labor impacts
Responsible for defining processes and labor in new shift and speed increase.
Develop facilities in production lines for material deliveries.
Responsible for designing new Cn's, PER's, process improvements, bottlenecks including configurations, training, and impact on materials.
Knowledge of HPV reports, restrictions, and overtime
