What are your contributions to the team?

  • Define, write, and correct functional test procedures for aircraft systems.
  • Support the resolution and troubleshooting of technical problems related to functional testing of aircraft systems.
  • Provide technical support for functional testing of aircraft systems.
  • Work closely with the engineering, production, logistics and quality functions.
  • Investigate the root causes of problems and analyze potential solutions by evaluating the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production.
  • Be on the lookout for ways to improve testing strategies in addition to taking part in research and development projects.
  • Interpret engineering requirements and other documents from the engineering department.
  • Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or functional testing strategy.
  • Ensure the feasibility and plan the changes requested by production and by customers (RFQ).
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate non-added value and optimize production.
  • Support the creation of tools according to precise technical requirements.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have a technical college diploma in avionics or maintenance aircraft and / or equivalent experience.
  • You have 5 years or more of experience in aeronautics.
  • You can work under pressure.
  • You have good analytical mind, good logic, and good avionics mind.
  • You have an excellent team spirit; you are recognized for your perseverance and your judgment.
  • You have a strong customer mindset and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • You know the software of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • You are familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN, SAP, etc.
  • You master the French language, both orally and in writing, and you have a good knowledge of the English language.
  • Knowledge of aircraft and interior completion systems will be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Bombardier technical documentation (AMM, SB, BAPS, CMM, etc.) will be considered an asset.
