Scintilla AG is responsible for the global development, manufacturing, marketing and coordination of distribution of accessories for power tools for the trades, for industrial applications and for DIY.

As a Method & Process Engineer with us, you will actively shape the future of our engineering processes. You will be the driving force behind the global development and standardization of our CAD(Computer-Aided Design)system landscape, ensuring continuous improvement and automation through the integration of AI and state-of-the-art technologies.

In your role, you will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Lead and Shape: You will manage the global CAD Excellence Program and be responsible for the corporate-wide use of CAD systems in product and packaging development.

  • Automate and Optimize: You will advance the automation of CAD processes and ensure the continuous improvement of development processes by integrating AI applications and standardized, state-of-the-art procedures.

  • Coach and Empower: You will design, organize, and oversee regular training programs on CAD, simulation, and AI for all engineers in your department.

  • Knowledge Transfer: You will promote the exchange of know-how within the teams by validating and sharing important information from the organization and external partners.

  • Represent and Network: You will represent our business unit in higher-level working groups on CAD and simulation topics and actively contribute to the creation of new procedures and standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: You have a technical background, ideally in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical discipline.

  • Personality and Working Style: You are a communicative and team-oriented individual who enjoys sharing knowledge and coaching others. Your working style is analytical, solution-oriented, and highly independent.

  • Experience and Know-How: You have in-depth knowledge of the PTC CREO Suite (including Windchill, Codebeamer) and ideally ARTIOS CAD. You are familiar with project management methods (Waterfall, V-Model, Agile).

  • Enthusiasm: You have a passion for digital transformation and enjoy establishing new technologies and methods like AI in an engineering environment.

  • Languages: You are business-fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
