- The Methane Leak Detection Testing Intern at Flogistix will support the engineering team in developing, executing, and refining methane leak detection tests. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in experimental design, data collection, and test execution, contributing to the company's commitment to environmental safety and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers in developing and executing methane leak detection tests.
- Help design experiments to enhance test accuracy and reliability.
- Collect and organize test data for analysis and reporting.
- Support test setup and execution to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure accurate measurements and comprehensive documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and procedures.
QualificationsRequired Education:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Familiarity with basic laboratory and field testing procedures.
- Experience in data collection and analysis through academic projects or coursework.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data collection and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting engineers and other professionals.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for organizing and analyzing test data.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Basic understanding of environmental regulations and standards related to methane emissions is a plus.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
