Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, the Metallurgical Technician is responsible for undertaking day‑to‑day, client focused metallurgical test work activities at Metallurgy Pty Ltd based in Welshpool.
Responsible for conducting the bulk of day to day activities at Metallurgy laboratories. In this role the encumbent undertakes a range of procedures which are clearly described by the metallurgists via safe work instructions or Job Requests (JR). With a solid background in laboratory settings and practices, the technician will have good organisational and time management skills, the ability to work independently and demonstrate an awareness of safe work conditions.
