  • Bowhill Engineering are registered to host Working Holiday Visa workers.
  • We are located in a regional area - Bowhill, Murraylands, South Australia being 1.5 hours from Adelaide, 40 mins from Murray Bridge, 30 mins Mannum on the River Murray.
  • Accommodation support available - subject to availability

We are seeking skilled Metal Fabricator/Welders to join our production team on a temporary basis (*Working Holiday Visa 417 must not work for one employer more than 6 months).

Candidates will be required to pass weld test requirements, weld qualification pass may also be required for certain project work and employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Read, interpret and work to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Fabricate & weld heavy structural steel components - MIG & Fluxcore welding
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with safety regulations
  • Ensure finished products meet weld procedures and specifications
  • Maintain and operate plant & equipment safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and meet production requirements

Qualifications:

  • Trade qualification in metal fabrication or welding (ANSCO 322311/322313)
  • Minimum 2 years trade qualified experience required
