Job Description

The Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors indicating how tasks/responsibilities will be performed:

• Strong understanding of data management and governance practices including metadata management, data quality management, master data management Experience with metadata management platforms/tools, such as data catalogs, business glossaries, and data dictionaries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and completeness of data and metadata.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects. Experience with Big data, Data warehousing, and business intelligence

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or a related field.
  At least 2 to 3 years of experience in data management and governance practices such as metadata management, data quality management, or master data management
  
• Familiarity with data management technologies and tools, including data governance platforms, metadata management systems, data quality tools, and master data management solutions.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with Data Catalogs, Data Dictionaries, Business Glossaries, and Lineage is preferred
• Experience working with Alation or similar data cataloging tools is preferred
