This role is a technical support and production specialist focused on Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment and electronic/electromechanical systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain SMT equipment (ideally MyData 100/200 series) and related systems

  • Provide advanced technical support for production and repair operations

  • Set up and perform testing, calibration, and diagnostics on complex equipment using schematics and technical documentation

  • Analyze process performance and product quality data to resolve issues and maintain efficiency

  • Adjust process parameters to prevent production disruptions

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to flag issues and provide detailed reports

  • Perform repair and overhaul services on assigned technologies

  • Train technicians and support team development

  • Follow safety and operational standards while handling materials and equipment

Required Qualifications

  • 2-year technical degree (or equivalent military training)

  • This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics

  • Solid technical knowledge with the ability to share expertise

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, work overtime, and handle hazardous materials if needed

Preferred Experience

  • 6+ years of related experience

  • Experience with PC-based tools and digital documentation

  • Background in team-based environments

  • Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
