Your work will transform how manufacturing professionals interact with critical operational data and you will be driving the platform's evolution from operational tool to strategic decision-support system. This role offers the unique opportunity to impact global manufacturing excellence through digital innovation, working at the intersection of industrial operations and cutting-edge low-code development.

  • Collaborate directly with operational end-users and manufacturing subject matter experts to co-design solutions that balance standardization requirements with local operational contexts and usability needs
  • Translate complex manufacturing processes and data structures (ISA-88/ISA-95 standards) into intuitive visual interfaces, dashboards, and interactive workflows that enable real-time decision-making
  • Implement and optimize cross-application integration within PlaTO's modular suite, ensuring seamless data flow and consistent user experience across Delay Recording, Activity Scheduling, Blocker Response, and Bad Actors Management modules
  • Develop reusable UI components and design patterns that accelerate development velocity while maintaining platform consistency and adherence to Syngenta digital standards
  • Support platform scalability by optimizing front-end performance, conducting code reviews, and implementing best practices for OutSystems development in enterprise manufacturing environments
  • Participate in agile development cycles, translating user stories and operational requirements into technical specifications while managing development backlogs and sprint deliverables
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including UI specifications, component libraries, and integration guides to support knowledge transfer and platform sustainability
  • Provide technical support during platform deployments, user acceptance testing, and post-launch optimization while gathering feedback to continuously enhance user experience and adoption.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in OutSystems development with demonstrated ability to build enterprise-grade applications, including reactive web and mobile interfaces, complex data integrations, and custom UI components
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions while maintaining focus on user experience and adoption
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience with low-code platforms and front-end web development in enterprise settings
  • Strongly Desired: foundation in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, or Svelte) with understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Optional: Experience working in manufacturing, industrial operations, or highly regulated environments where understanding operational workflows and data criticality is essential for solution design

Additional Information
