We are searching for the best talent for MES ENGINEERING MANAGER to be in Juarez City.

Purpose:

The MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and scalability of the MES platform within the organization. This role ensures that the MES system functions efficiently to support manufacturing processes, drives continuous improvement, and supports the strategic growth of the platform. The MES Manager reports directly to the Senior Business System Manager.

You will be responsible for

  • Manage and sustain day-to-day MES platform operations, ensuring system reliability and performance.
  • Monitor MES system health, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, IT, and business teams to identify and implement system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Lead efforts to scale the MES platform to support business growth, new product introductions, and expanding manufacturing capabilities.
  • Maintain documentation for MES processes, configurations, and changes; ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and integration activities with other business systems.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders to promote MES adoption and effective utilization.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to MES operations and report findings to management.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners for technical support and solution development.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams and complex system deployments/Enhancements.
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) required.
  • Proven experience managing MES platforms in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and business systems integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with system scaling, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in MES management.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Affinity with digital transformation, automation, and data analytics is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the medical device sector.
  • Academic degree as a professional in Engineering or related Sciences. Master's degree preferably.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience, preferably in Operations, Manufacturing, or related activities, preferably in the field of medical products or the pharmaceutical industry with a minimum of 2 years supervising people with technical skills
