About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for an energetic and driven Store Manager to lead our Merrell Spencer St team! Blending technical performance with everyday fashion, you’ll play a key role in bringing the brand to life for every customer.
Working closely with your Area Manager and Assistant Store Manager, you’ll coach, mentor, and inspire a passionate team, foster a positive store culture, and deliver exceptional customer experiences that reflect Merrell’s spirit of adventure and innovation.
As Store Manager, you’ll:
• Lead day-to-day operations to drive store performance across KPIs, sales, stock, wages, and shrinkage.
• Inspire and coach your team to hit sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Monitor performance daily, weekly, and monthly – celebrating wins and identifying areas for growth.
• Manage rosters and wages in line with budget and company standards.
• Ensure high standards in visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Maintain a strong focus on OH&S compliance and team wellbeing.
• Develop team talent through training, mentoring, and succession planning.
Skills and Experience
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
• 1+ years Store Management experience in a high-volume retail environment.
• A ‘Make it Happen’ attitude with a passion for retail and team success.
• Proven experience in driving KPIs, sales results, and managing store operations.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to identify missed opportunities.
• Strong skills in visual merchandising, stock control, and wage management.
• A passion for developing others and building a strong, engaged store culture.
