Available Career Opportunities

Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Ideal for individuals entering the human services field or those with prior caregiving experience. DSPs provide direct support with daily living activities, community participation, personal care, meal preparation, behavioral supports, medication administration, and household management while helping individuals achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Connecticut Driver's License
• Basic computer skills
• Human services experience preferred but not required
• Ability to obtain required certifications

Lead Direct Support Professional

Perfect for experienced DSPs looking to grow into leadership. Lead DSPs continue providing direct support while serving as mentors to staff, supporting program operations, modeling best practices, and helping ensure quality services are delivered to individuals served.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Connecticut Driver's License
• One year of residential or direct support experience
• Ability to obtain required certifications

Pay

• $20.85/hour
• Additional $0.50/hour with DDS Medication Certification

Group Home Manager

For experienced human services professionals ready to lead a residential program. Managers oversee daily operations, train and supervise staff, ensure quality services, support individuals' needs, and create a positive environment for both residents and employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Two years of progressive experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred

Pay

• $21.32 to $22.40/hour
• On-call leadership responsibilities required
