Job Description

Our client is a highly respected mid-market M&A advisory business, specialising in people-driven sectors including Technology, Consulting, Human Capital, Media, and Digital Marketing. They are seeking a high-calibre M&A Associate to join their London office and take ownership of sell-side advisory assignments, working closely with senior leadership to drive transactions from start to finish.
Based in their Central London office, this role is predominantly sell-side, with occasional exposure to buy-side opportunities. The M&A Associate will be responsible for managing key aspects of live deals, including client interaction, financial analysis, and deal execution. The position offers significant autonomy, the chance to run transactions alongside a Partner, and exposure to a strong pipeline of deal flow.
This is a premium, client-facing role requiring a highly organised, commercially minded individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative, high-performing team and be comfortable managing clients and deals with professionalism and precision.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage live sell-side transactions from start to finish, including financial analysis, valuation support, and preparation of marketing materials.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, acting as a primary point of contact throughout the transaction process.
  • Support deal execution, liaising with buyers, legal teams, and other advisors to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Collaborate with Partners and senior colleagues to identify deal opportunities and strategic advisory insights.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and broader business initiatives as required.
  • Maintain high standards of compliance, confidentiality, and client service at all times.

Person Specification
  • Background in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or related advisory services.
  • Series 63 or Series 79 certification is highly desirable.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a client-facing transaction role (mid-market exposure preferred).
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling, and valuation skills.
  • Confident managing clients and executing transactions with autonomy.
  • Naturally driven, ambitious, and results-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work from the London office 2–3 days per week in a hybrid arrangement.
  • Interest and/or experience in Technology, Consulting, Human Capital, Media, or Digital Marketing sectors strongly preferred.

Why Apply?
  • Take ownership of live sell-side transactions with full deal-running responsibility.
  • Join a dynamic mid-market advisory business with a strong pipeline of deals.
  • Competitive base salary and very attractive bonus structure.
  • Work alongside experienced Partners and senior colleagues in a supportive, high-performing team.
