Job Description

Merchandising Management TraineeGuangzhouRegularInternet / Electronics / Games - OperationsResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
1. Participate in the rotational program across company level to quickly master the Cider brand’s product positioning, target audience, and market conditions. Gain an in-depth understanding of e-commerce operational strategies.
2. Identify product selling points and selection strategies, learning how to recognize and introduce trending products. Establish pathways and methods for creating best-selling items.
3. Monitor product category performance and manage the allocation of traffic sources based on different product lifecycle stages. Optimize product offerings to improve conversion rates.
4. Compile competitor information and market trend reports from trend platforms. Assist in analyzing sales and inventory data to evaluate hot-selling and slow-moving product performance.
Development Pathways:
1. Merchandise Planning:
- Manage the full lifecycle of women’s clothing products, including product selection, pricing, and launches. Oversee the entire process to ensure product success.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis, stay up to date with fashion trends and user preferences, and develop strategic product plans.
2. Merchandise Management:
- Forecast product sales trends based on sales structure and plans. Coordinate supply needs, manage product orders/replenishment, and adjust strategies based on real-time sales data.
- Analyze sales and inventory data to determine hot-selling and slow-moving products. Optimize stock levels, balancing inventory turnover and out-of-stock rates.
3. Merchandise Operations:
- Develop and execute new product launch plans in alignment with product line planning and category strategies. Take ownership of achieving sales targets.
- Analyze market trends and category insights, collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns based on market trends, internal data, and user profiles to launch best-selling products.QualificationsRequirements:
1. Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (Class of 2025), preferably in fashion, apparel, mathematics, statistics, or related fields.
2. Strong data interpretation skills, with the ability to think strategically and plan ahead. Keen market observation and sound judgment abilities are essential.
3. Exceptional market awareness and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across departments. Must be proactive, willing to embrace challenges, and a strong team player.
4. Proficiency in English for workplace communication, with strong writing and communication skills, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT, and other office software, with the ability to produce and manage relevant analysis reports and data sheets. Apply
