Job Description

This role will drive brand elevation as well as brand desirability and maximize sales potential through strategic merchandising and creative visual merchandising for Tiffany Korea. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, deep market insights, and a passion for luxury jewelry retail.

Responsibilities

Develop merchandising strategies aligned with regional and global objectives.

  • Lead optimized product assortment and inventory level by store typology in collaboration with partnering global and regional functions.
  • Deliver Retail communications on new product launches and major merchandising initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally with other functions to elevate the clients experience and maximize sales performance through strategic merchandising actions.
  • Analyze market and competitors’ pricing positioning and share the local insights to the global team.

Project accurate product sales plans by category by channels.

  • Prepare the product sales plan by category and by key collections for Retail, E-Commerce and Retail Partners for the yearly budget.
  • Provide the sales forecast of the newness.
  • Work closely with Demand planning for monthly estimation of detailed sales plans which leads to efficient production and inventory management plans.
  • Drive effective collaboration with Inventory planning to ensure optimized inventory supply.

Manage Creative Visual Merchandising

  • Ensure consistent in-store product presentation by implementing CVM standards aligned with the global strategies.
  • Manage the planning, installation and maintenance of seasonal creative campaigns.
  • Lead the global alignment, budgeting and activations for pop-ups/ins events.
  • Train and foster in-store CVM ambassadors to enhance the effective VM implementation.

Curate the most effective assortment for special events

  • Create the event assortment in line with the business objectives.
  • Secure elevated High Jewelry offers for the local High Jewelry event.
  • Lead the communication with the global High Jewelry(HJ) team on the HJ performance.

Lead outstanding Team Management, Collaboration and Leadership

  • Develop professional staff to be result-driven and self-starting aligned to the Tiffany competency model
  • Set clear goals and performance KPIs to guide the team and encourage goal achievement.
  • Foster an open communication culture within the team to create a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Drive effective cross-functional collaboration with relevant functions to align the strategic and operational objectives and to maximize the performance. (Retail, Retail Excellence, Finance, Marketing, Operations, etc)

Required

  • A passion for the luxury jewelry industry with strong merchandising knowledge, planning and analyzing skills
  • Over 15 years of working experience, of which at least 2 years of senior managerial role is mandatory
  • Ability to interact with flexibility and diplomacy with key stakeholders
  • Proactive, creative problem solver
  • Highly Proficiency in English
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in both Korean & English

Preferred

  • Working experience in global luxury organization
  • Jewelry & Watch industry experience
  • Solid knowledge base on gemstone, jewelry and timepieces – GIA Certification is a plus
