The Merchandising Teams are responsible for building profitable product assortments that meet or exceed our financial goals and are aligned to our overall Brand Strategy. As a Merchandise Coordinator you will be responsible for building profitable product assortments that meet or exceed the financial goals and are aligned to the overall Brand Strategy. The owner of this position is providing general support for the Merchandising Lead and team members with planning & building of specific product group assortments that meet or exceed the seasonal financial plan.

Your responsibilities

  • Set up products in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system with all the necessary information in order for development to create product tech packs
  • Participate in the E2E range meetings with the Merchandising, Design and Development teams - to understand and share strategies, tactics, ideas, and Best Practices with other coordinators. / Support product group alignment by working closely with other coordinators
  • Support the Merchandising Leads in the preparation of all product related meetings and setting up the collection building area’s with samples
  • Document outcomes and minutes from Range Review and Range Signoff meetings, as needed
  • Keep Range Overviews up to date with sketches and colors by store level as well as Collection Overviews for the briefings to VIM teams
  • Proactively communicate updates around sales/business, results, space and location, competition, store visits and special initiatives. Support on presentation and capturing of competition samples, pictures, and analysis

What you bring

  • Ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of data from a variety of sources to identify revenue growth and profit opportunities; if necessary using statistical analysis to identify key drivers of business performance and inform decision-making
  • Strong understanding of business principles and internal C&A structures, ability to apply this knowledge to analyze data and make informed recommendations
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including management, Merchandising organization and other CRSO business units
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to incorporate analysis into decision-making processes
  • Ability to quickly adapt to ad-hoc requirements and changes in the market / business environment and update their analyses as new data becomes available
  • Detail-orientation and ability to carefully analyze and interpret data to verify the accuracy of their findings
  • Good self-organizing and work structuring skills, positive forward-looking mindset, self-starter, team spirit and energized by delivering the best product for our customer, passionate about the product by optimizing quality processes, motivated by challenges and providing solutions

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge how to work with SAP, Mainframe 3270 (VDU1 and VDU2)
  • Advanced Lotus Notes skills
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Approach Databank)
