Who You Are:

Responsible for managing the Buying process to build compelling commercial ranges of products for the regional business and contribute to the development of the Company’s overall goals, ensuring that the plans for the Buying of their areas are appropriately integrated and actively influence the strategic direction of the business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ownership of the regional business with a focus on creating the most profitable assortment for the Outlet Categories
  • Contributes and lead the execution of the Versace Buying strategy during the buying session
  • Responsible for understanding and fulfilling individual store / product needs and accountable for the budget that is used to create all store assortments
  • Tailor assortments by store base on brand strategy, sales history, consumer profile, ensuring the correct balance between volume drivers and image pieces curating differentiation between stores in the same city
  • Drives in-season management of the range to drive revenue and the trade the business in the proper way
  • Partner with Global merchandising teams to ensure product needs are met and highlight regional trends
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising to ensure the range will be presented in the stores in the proper way following VM Standards
  • Partner with Retail Director/Area Manager and Store Manager to gather products feedback and market opportunities
  • Partner with Regional Marketing to highlight key investments for the Region
  • Prepare actions plan to boost sale in low performing categories
  • Prepare product training documents and present the buying strategy to the teams in-store
  • Arrange business trips and visits to stores to have a clear picture of the market, store profile, clientele, competitors.

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business/ fashion merchandising is preferred
  • 4-5 years of previous experience in a fast paced, sales-driven environment
  • Must possess analytical skills and strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
  • Keen awareness of the customer and brand profile of the business
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills for interacting and networking with customers and other departments.
  • Ability to work in NYC office 3 days a week.
