About the Role

We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative Global Item Operations Specialist to support item setup and data integrity across global systems. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills to ensure smooth coordination between platforms and teams, driving consistency and operational efficiency across markets.

Our Objective

To seamlessly integrate global item setup into established brand processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and scalability across all markets

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage SKU creation requests in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) for all WSI Global Markets.
  • Partner with cross-brand teams to execute changes to SKU-level data including pricing, costing, descriptions, product hierarchy, fulfillment information, and product attribute flags.
  • Communicate prioritization of SKU creation and maintenance requests between cross-functional teams, maintaining transparency and alignment on open issues.
  • Support cross-functional projects, process enhancements, and system upgrades with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Collaborate effectively with Merchandising teams to ensure assortments are accurately managed and represented across systems.

JOB HOLDER’S COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-4 years relevant work experience
  • Previous experience in the merchandise operations, product development, supply chain or a related role

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Clear communication and willingness to collaborate across team.
  • Analytical mindset with curiosity to understand how systems connect.
  • Adaptability in managing shifting priorities and timelines.
  • Proactive approach with a focus on learning and continuous improvement.
  • Reliable team player who takes ownership and follows through.

Hard Skills

  • Familiarity with Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, basic formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot).
  • Preferably with experience in PLM systems, not limited to any other systems within the organization
  • Comfort working with large data sets and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Awareness of merchandising or product lifecycle processes is a plus.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems or software quickly.
