You will service 18stores on a schedule (some on a weekly basis and some on a bi-weekly basis) in the following areas Eastern Columbus

To support the client base effectively, the ideal candidate will reside in East Side of the Columbus areas.

The territory is Eastern Columbus, and includes 18 stores in the following cities: Columbus, Washington Courthouse, Chillicothe, Athens, Zanesville, Lancaster, Grove City, Canal Winchester, Heath, Newark, and Mt Vernon

100% Travel is required. Company vehicle and gas card will be provided. The associate will use their own vehicle until receiving the PrimeSource Dodge Ram.

You will also be provided with an iPhone and company polo shirts.

FULL TIME JOB WITH BENEFITS!

FLEXIBLE START TIMES (5AM to 9AM) FLEXIBLE END TIMES (1:30PM to 7PM), depending on your start time.

NO WEEKENDS! WORK INDEPENDENTLY IN THE FIELD!

Responsibilities:

Merchandising Specialists are expected to service 2 to 3 stores a day within their territory. You will work remotely and independently Merchandising Specialist are responsible for merchandising fasteners (nails and screws) in assigned home improvement retail stores.

Once onsite, the primary job responsibilities include down-stocking products, installing signage, maintaining plan-o-gram layouts, pricing displays, and training store employees on the different fasteners.

Our Merchandising Specialists plays an integral role within our company because their efforts are critical to achieving our sales goals and improving our customer’s profitability.

The Merchandising Specialists represent PrimeSource in the field, are the first line of customer service, and are essential for maintaining important partnerships between our customers and vendors.

Qualifications

  • Full down-stocking of products from overheads to sales floor shelves and cross-merchandise locations throughout the warehouse stores.
  • Monitor customer warehouse inventory levels and submit comprehensive inventory reports each week.
  • Collaborate with customers and their associates and/or merchandising teams to create attractive sales floor displays
  • Make sure that our product is down stocked and prominently displayed and ensure inventory counts are accurate.
  • Act as the liaison between customers and the company by addressing customer issues and solving customer problems.
  • Assist customers in creating an organized warehouse that allows for easier product accessibility.
  • Stock sales floor shelves for the customers who request additional inventory management assistance.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Must have experience in big box retail.
  • Hardware and building material knowledge preferred.
  • Must be able to work safely in a retail construction environment.
  • Must have strong customer service skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Regularly.
  • Must be capable of moving merchandise up and down ladders.
  • Must live within the territory that you support.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

About this role

PLEASE NOTE: This position requires at least 40 hours a week with occasional overtime mandated. Each day, Monday-Friday, will require 8 hours per shift and 100% travel within your region of control. Daily shifts will consist of 2-3 store visits assigned to you, which you will drive to. You will be provided with a company truck and gas card, but pending arrival you may temporarily have to drive your own vehicle.

Pay $18.00 per hour, based on experience.
