Job Description

We are accepting applications for the following position:

MERCHANDISER

The Merchandiser position is responsible for merchandising of all local supermarkets, gas stations and stores. This include assisting with sales of specified accounts as needed, ensuring incoming non-liquor inventory is stocked and stored appropriately, assisting with bi-weekly inventory in accordance with established policies and procedures and completing other duties assigned by Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure shelves are packed appropriately following established company and vendor policies
  • Assist with orders of specified accounts assigned by Supervisor
  • Proper stock rotation based on best before dates be adhered to
  • Ensure planograms are adhered to per individual locations
  • Check invoices and receiving documents for discrepancies on a daily basis and contact Brand Manager about delivery discrepancies
  • Stock inventory ensuring all non-liquor items are organized and stored properly in warehouse
  • Deliver small orders when necessary
  • Assist with monthly inventory of non-liquor items
  • Assist with promotions
  • Receive and unpack orders when delivered to customer locations
  • Ensure proper rotation of shelf stock to prevent items from going out of date
  • Maintain a clean and organized allocated space in customer’s warehouse
  • Unpack and store incoming overseas orders at CDL warehouse
  • Follow established safety and quality standards
  • Communicate with supervisor on regular basis
  • Provide suggestions for improvement
  • Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Ensure effective and timely completion of assigned merchandising functions
  • Ensure that inventory management is conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Establish and maintain good communication, coordination, and working relations with customers, Company personnel and with management
  • Ensure that management is informed of area activities and of any significant concerns

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years working experience in a similar capacity
  • Clean driver’s license

Salary: CI$9.00 - CI$10.00 per hour

Benefits: In accordance with Cayman Islands Law
