
The Merchandise Planning Manager builds sales, margin and inventory plans by class. Identifies risks and opportunities, manages inventory positions by location. Drives promotional strategy to achieve sales, inventory, margin and turnover objectives. Analyzes sales data to inform merchandising decisions.
The Museum of Modern Art’s Retail division is an omnichannel business, operating branded stores in NYC, a global e-commerce business, licensing, wholesale operations, and (through external partners) international store locations.

Reports to: Head of Merchandise Planning
Salary: The salary range for this position is a minimum of $90,000 to maximum of $100,000 per annum.
Other MoMA Retail employees work a hybrid schedule of four days in the office with the opportunity to work one day remote, subject to change as business needs necessitate.
