Make An Impact:
We are currently looking for a Merchandise Distributor to join the Fossil Planning team. This candidate will be responsible for merchandise allocation for our Watch Station team in order to meet sales objectives.
This role is a hybrid position, requiring you to be onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
What you will do in this role:
• Distribute/allocate and replenish product to the stores to maximize sales by setting system parameters to achieve sales and inventory objectives
• Generate various reports, including style-selling and sell-through analysis, to assist in meeting sales, inventory, and accuracy objectives
• Organize sales and allocation reporting and assortment grids on a daily basis
• Responsible for creating system generated orders that accurately allocate inventory and meet monthly budget requirements
• Maintain orders in the system and track shipments from the distribution center to ensure timely arrival to stores
• Communicate with cross functional teams to ensure accurate assortment, allocation strategy, and successes within stores.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for merchandise, stores, and promotional ideas
• Assist in forecasting and analysis to determine future sales and inventory needs
Who You Are:
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising, Business, or relevant studies preferred
• Some experience in planning, buying or allocation strongly preferred
• At least 1 year or more of retail experience
• Understanding of retail math, retail vocabulary, and Microsoft Excel formulas to analyze sales and inventory data
• Strong verbal. written communication, and analytical skills are required
• Results in focused, detail oriented skills and takes pride in accuracy
• Self motivated, has the ability to independently organize and resource, and has a strong sense of urgency
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel) and Google Enterprise products
• SAP knowledge preferred
