Join NEXCOM for an exciting 18-month project supporting Ecommerce, digital content, and enterprise marketing operations in a fast-paced collaborative environment. This short-term position offers benefits and is eligible for remote work.

Within NEXCOM, that position is known as "DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST".

Works directly in supporting the Marketing Communications Coordinator – E-Commerce, focusing on maximizing opportunities related to online cross-channel marketing communications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Support the Marketing Communications Coordinator, E-Commerce by using Facebook, You Tube, Twitter and other digital marketing channels (including, but not limited to, e-mail, SMS, etc.).

- Use social media to monitor, respond, and engage within corporate branding standards.

- Use digital marketing channels (including, but not limited to, e-mail, SMS, etc.) to communicate sales and promotions to customers.

- Interacts with customer directly to promote brand and settle disputes gracefully.

- Brand advocate and supporter of the NEX community, responsible for externally engaging in conversation with our customers.

- Skilled at understanding, selecting and utilizing the right digital marketing tools.

- Monitors and engages social media channels. Enforces strict standards in regards to timelines, respect and helpfulness to our customer.

- Communicates company success stories as it relates to digital media.

- Serves as company subject matter expert for operation and management of a comprehensive external (contractor) email service including list maintenance, list importing, performing customer authentication, establishing and maintaining customer mailing preferences, setting up triggered emails, metrics, and a variety of related e-mail tasks.

- Monitors the NEX e-mail list for hygiene/quality control, ensuring that adds, changes, and deletes are being processed accurately; implements corrective action as needed.

- Develops and manages the schedule for sending email for the command in support of NEX store and online promotions and the NEX digital flyer, including setting up and QAing versions.

- Organizes and plans content and offers for digital communication with customers.

- Develops and communicates procedures/policies for digital communications sent to customers on behalf of stores; coordinates the creation, approval, and sending of digital communications.

- Tracks, analyzes and reports on performance metrics for digital marketing campaigns.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requires 5 years of experience as indicated below:

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience gained in administrative marketing support and or retails sales or other related responsible work that enabled applicant to gain knowledge of marketing and customer service.

OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: One year of related academic study above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months of experience up to a maximum of a four year bachelor s degree for three years of general experience.

AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Two years of progressive experience that provided background in customer relations and customer services in a retail and or services environment.
