
Ferrovial Construction Canada Inc. and VINCI Construction Grands Projets are undertaking the design, build, and finance the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel (South Civil) package
As Ontario Transit Group, we are now mobilizing our design and construction crews, with major works. The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030.
The project will strengthen Ontario’s economy by supporting an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction.

The MEP Synthesis Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) coordination activities within the OTG scope of the OLS stations, ensuring full compliance with Mx Contract requirements and project standards.
This role supports seamless integration between MEP systems and Civil, Architectural, and RSSOM Systems by reviewing design documentation, leading spatial coordination efforts, and facilitating effective communication among multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 CAD - $130,000 CAD, plus additional benefits.

Ontario Transit Group (OTG) is a joint venture between Ferrovial Construction and Vinci Construction Grands Projets (through their subsidiary JANIN ATLAS) to design, build and deliver the Ontario Line Subway - Southern Civil, Stations and Tunnel work for Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario. The south section of the line will join Exhibition Place to the Don Yard portal.
Scope of work for the Ontario Line South Civil design-build-finance package includes:
- A six-kilometre tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River)
- Groundworks required to build the tunnels and stations; utility and conduit works to prepare for the Rolling Stock, Systems, Operations and Maintenance (RSSOM) mechanical and electrical systems; guideway structures and facilities to prepare for the track structure to be installed by the RSSOM contractor.
- Stations: One above-ground station to be integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station. Two underground stations to be integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations. Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown).
When completed with the northern section of the Ontario Line, the new subway line will be a 15.6-kilometre subway line with 15 new stations to the and will connect Exhibition Place all the way to the Eglinton Crosstown LRT at Don Mills Road.
